Summer Camp: Endangered Species
Temecula: July 1, 2, 3
Menifee: July 8, 9, 10
Time: 9 am - 12 pm
Ages 6-12 years
Wildlife Art Camp is for kids who love animals and want to explore their creativity while learning about conservation.
Over the course of three days, campers will create pottery projects featuring a panda figurine, an axolotl bank, and a sea turtle box. They’ll design a photo frame decorated with animal figures, sculpt a paper mâché whale shark, and paint wildlife portraits. Other projects include a tote bag featuring a painted wolf and a canvas of the Serengeti with elephants.
Along the way, campers will learn about the habitats and challenges these animals face and how conservation efforts help protect them. This camp is a chance to discover amazing wildlife through art while exploring different creative techniques in pottery, painting, and mixed media.
